OSM update කරද්දී අපිට එන ගැටළු ඒවගේම ලංකාවේ කොහේ හරි ප්‍රදේශයක් නිවැරදිව යාවත් කාලින වෙලා නැත්නම් ඒ ගැන සදහන් කරන ඉල්ලේම උනත් දන්න තමයි මේක තියෙන්නේ. හෙම ඉල්ලීමකටම , ප්‍රශ්නෙකටම අලුත් thread එකක් පටන් හඳුනා පුලුවන්නම් එක හෙමොටම පහසුවක් .දෙයක් හොයන යටත් එකෙන් ඉක්මටන තමන්ට ඕනදේ හොයා ගන්න පුළුවන්

Southern Expressway එකේ කනංකේ (වැලිගම) කිට්ටුව තැනක පාර සම්බන්ධ වෙලා නැහැ. Navigate වෙන්නේ එතනින් එලියට. ඒක පුලුවන්නම් නිවැරදි කරන්න.

There is a news article saying "Outer Circular Expressway phase II which starts from Kaduwela Kotalawala and ends at Kadawatha, is going to be opened to public on 17th Sep 2015". I,m proud to say we OSM mappers are ahead of all other GPS maps. Our map is already updated!!!

When I am trying to convert OSM data to other formats (Navitel) following errors caused trouble. WARNING: There are two nodes at the same position (N6°49.7896' E81°00.3185'). When I look at those points in OSM map it seems some of them are railway platforms marked as "public_transport" = "platform" and "area" = "yes". According to wiki these should be marked as "railway"="platform" and should be simple way (not an area ) to avoid problems. Please help correcting above errors in OSM map. Thilina: Please look at the last error, its a road segment at Hambanthota. You may be familiure with the area. |

Sorry for the late reply. But think its good to let know this. Actually, when I checked soon after the report, road section from Gadagama toll center to Mata-Akurassa road was tagged as "construction" = "yes". And some navigators avoid these roads under construction. I think that's why this has happened. I have deleted that tag from those road sections. Unfortunately forgot to update the forum. |

Recently a friend of mine has traveled via Ratnapura town using OSM map and complains of several errors. If anyone of you guys, are familiar with roads there please kindly see whether there is something to be changed or improved. Thanks.

මේ වගේ වෙලාවට ගියපු මාර්ගයේ trace එක අරගන්න අපි එයාලව දෙනුවත් කරන්න ඕන . එහම උනාම වැරදි ටික හදන්න ලේසි. දැන් කරන්න තියෙන්නේ එය ගියපු පාර මොකද්ද කියල අහගන්න එක. එයාගෙන පාර අහගෙන කියන්න (උදා: a -> b එතනින් c එතනින් x පාරෙන් d වෙත) අපි ඒ පාර බලමු අවුලක් තියෙනවා නම් හදල දාන්න

මට අද විශාල කණගාටුවක් දැනුණු දවසක්. හේතුව තමයි, ගම්පහ නගරයේත් ගණේමුල්ල ජාඇල මාර්ගය හා ඒ අවටත් මාර්ග වලට කවුරුහරි කරල තිබෙන විනාශය දකින්න ලැබීම.
මට පේන විදිහට නම් පාකිස්ථානයේ මැප් එකට අත් වෙලා තියෙන ඉරණම අපේ මැප් එකටත් වෙන්න වැඩි දවසක් යන එකක් නෑ වගේ.
මම හිතන විදිහට මේක කරන්න ඇත්තෙ අර ගම්පහ සම්පුර්ණ කරන්න ඉන්න කට්ටිය වෙන්න ඕනෙ. සදීප මේ අය ගැන එක ත්‍රෙඩ් එකක කථා කරල තිබුණ මට මතකයි. සදීප ඔයා මේ ගොල්ලන්ව දන්නව නම් කරුණාකරල මේ අපරාදෙ නවත්තන්න කියන්න. මොකද, මේ විනාශ කරන්නෙ බොහෝ පිරිසක්ගෙ අවුරුදු ගනනක මහන්සිය නිසා.

I Didn't look at the map yet. I don't think DMC people will do any harm to map. they are committed to improve it and they do some training programs for other people. Nevertheless DMC top people who are looking after OSM projects (Srimal and Sundaralingam) are members of this forum too. Any concern please raise up to them. |
